league record, as the Red Sox beat Philadelphia 12-1. He also has two
singles in the game.
September 5, 1985:Boston's first two batters -- Dwight Evans and
Wade Boggs crack homers off Cleveland's Neal Heaton in Boston's 13-6
win in game 1. Evans adds another home run to back Oil Can Boyd's first
win in seven weeks. Cleveland wins the nitecap, 9-5
